How to leave a cash game table on WPT Global (Cash Out and other options)
When you want to stop playing at a cash game table, the right way is to tap Cash Out: your chips go back to your account balance and you leave your seat. Closing the app or switching back to the lobby does not count as leaving. Your seat and chips stay on the table.
How to cash out
Section titled “How to cash out”- Open the table menu.

Cash Out. - The confirmation asks
Would you like to cash out and leave from The Table?. Confirm it.
If you’re still in a hand at that moment, you don’t leave immediately. Instead you see:
Applied to leave the table in advance, you will stand up when the hand is over
Play the hand out as usual. When it ends, you’re cashed out and leave your seat automatically.
Your settled chips go back to your account balance. You can buy in at another table or withdraw from the cashier.
Choosing the right way to leave
Section titled “Choosing the right way to leave”The table menu has more than one button related to leaving. They differ in what happens to your seat and chips:

The most common mistake is treating Lobby as leaving the table. On mobile, going back to the lobby only switches screens. If you’re still seated, the game keeps going. On desktop, the behavior may vary depending on your window settings, so Cash Out is always the safest way to leave.
Where does my money go after I cash out?
Your chips on the table go back to your account balance. You can buy in at another table or withdraw from the cashier.
What happens if I tap Cash Out in the middle of a hand?
You don't leave right away. The app shows Applied to leave the table in advance, you will stand up when the hand is over: your request is registered and you stand up and cash out once the hand ends.
Does closing the app count as leaving the table?
No. If you close the app or disconnect, your seat and chips stay on the table. You get some offline protection time first (the screen shows Off-line protection system added extra time), and if you don't come back before it runs out, the system handles your hand automatically. When you're done playing, always tap Cash Out.
What's the difference between Cash Out and Sit Out?
Cash Out settles your chips and gives up your seat. Sit Out keeps your seat and stops dealing you in, with your chips still on the table. Use Sit Out for a short break and Cash Out when you're done.
