WPT Global table layout: where to find blinds, pot, action buttons, and menu

Once you sit down at a WPT Global table, the screen breaks into four areas: table info at the top, the board and pot in the middle, the seats in a ring, and the action area that appears when it’s your turn. This page walks you through each one. Follow the links for details on each feature.

What you seeWhat it means
Blind: 0.50/1The table’s blinds. Three numbers (for example 1/2/4) mean the table has a straddle
Ante: …Short deck tables show an ante instead of blinds. See short deck rules
Room number: …The room ID, useful when you report a problem
Jackpot amountTables with a jackpot show the current prize pool. Tap it to see the rules. See Jackpot

The menu icon in the corner opens the table menu: Sit Out, Cash Out, Stand Up, Rules, Settings, and more. See the UI glossary for what each button does.

  • Board: the three flop cards, the turn, and the river are dealt in the middle, in that order.
  • Pot:: the current total in the pot. When someone goes all-in, side pots are created.
  • Once your hole cards are face up, a hand strength hint appears next to them showing what hand you currently have.

Each seat shows the player’s nickname, avatar, and chip stack. A player’s action for the current round appears next to their seat, such as Call, Raise, Straddle, or Muck.

  • Turn on Open table with datapoints in big blinds in the app settings to show stacks in big blinds. See table settings.
  • Tap another player’s avatar to see their info. In bounty tournaments you’ll also see their bounty. See bounty tournaments.
  • To show your own cards, tap your hole cards so the eye icon appears. See Show cards and Auto Muck.

When it’s your turn to act, the bottom of the screen shows:

  • Action buttons: Fold, Check, Call, Bet, Raise, All-in.
  • Bet slider: drag it to set your bet size. The far left is the minimum allowed right now. See minimum raise rules.
  • Quick bet buttons: fill in a fraction of the pot with one tap. The defaults are 1/3, 1/2, 3/4, and full pot, and you can customize them. See table settings.
  • Countdown timer: your time to act. If time runs out before you act, the system acts for you automatically.

According to the WPT Global website, when your time is almost up, a Time Extension button appears, and you can pay a small fee for a bit more time to think. The app may also label it Extra time. The number of extensions is limited, and if you use too many you’ll see Too much extra time used.

When your connection drops, the system automatically adds time for you first and shows:

Off-line protection system added [X] extra time in this hand

This means the offline protection system added X extra time periods for you in this hand. If you aren’t reconnected when that time runs out, your hand is acted on automatically.

From the table you can open:

  • Game records: the full action of recent hands, replays, Rabbit Hunt, and reporting.
  • Game Log: each player’s buy-ins, hands played, and winnings or losses for this session.

See hand history and stats.

The website calls this feature Side Betting: a bet on the cards you’ll be dealt before the hand starts. At some tables a small pop-up appears with something like If the next hand is …, get …X reward. You predict what hand you’ll get next, and if you’re right you win a reward based on the multiplier. Tap Bet to place the bet. AutoBet repeats it automatically.

It’s an optional side bet with no connection to the game itself, and it doesn’t affect how you play. If you don’t want it, check Don't see this screen again and the pop-up won’t show up again.

What are Blind and Room number at the top of the table?

Blind shows the table's blinds (for example 0.50/1; tables with a straddle show a third number), and Room number is the room ID. Short deck tables show an Ante instead of a Blind.

What if I run out of time to act?

When your time is almost up, a Time Extension button appears (the app may also show it as Extra time). Pay a small fee to get more time. The number of extensions is limited, and if you use too many you'll see Too much extra time used.

What happens if I disconnect mid-hand?

The system automatically gives you some extra time first and shows Off-line protection system added extra time in this hand. If you aren't back when that time runs out, your hand is acted on automatically.

What is the pop-up asking me to guess my next hand?

That's the Guess Hand side bet. You predict what hand you'll be dealt next, and if you're right you win a reward based on the multiplier. It has nothing to do with the actual game. If you don't want it, check Don't see this screen again to hide it.
